Okay, so this isn't the most appetizing photo. What can we do, food was gone in 60 seconds! It was a wipeout... *burp* excuse me...

Think of it as Friday's cuisine, only there's better value for money. 3 famished Altamira kids (with special emphasis on "Altamira", not "famished"... oh you have no idea about our appetite!) were filled to the brim costing us not even 200 bucks each!

Sorry did i even say, that photo there, it used to be a dish of melt-in-your-mouth baby back ribs! They come in Jack Daniel's (onion-y), Heinz something (mustard-y) and Bourbon (garlic-y) sauce..

Oh, and they serve great seafood, pasta and salad too!

I've been dreaming in French! Stuff that sound right (and nasal) but stuff I cannot understand! Prolly because the last 5 movies I have seen are in French.

Well, thanks to the 13th French Film Festival running at the Shangr-La Cineplex from June 11-22. They dish out a bit of French culture by featuring movies for free... French and Free... what can be a better deal?

And yes, I've been putting off KungFu Panda and Hulk for these subtitled flicks. If you ever get the chance, try to catch "Changement d'adresse (Change in Address) and "Je crois que je l'aime" (Could this be Love)... 2 of my personal favorites from the 5 I have seen so far.

I like "Change in Address" because it shows how the intricacies of life and love can be very simple given the right break (and attitude). I simply love the way the personality of the lead characters was established. Brilliant! Whereas, I love "Could this be Love" because... it's a feel-good romantic comedy. And I’m into cheese! Haha! =D But if Kurt Cobain is your hero, you might wanna check out "Clean". It's a brave tri-lingual film set in Canada, London, Paris and San Francisco that depicts the rock star lifestyle.

Come one hour ahead of screening time as tickets run out fast.

Vous appreciez!

P.S.
Did I mention the best part of the movie marathon is having it with my guy friends? And then capping the night with chillax conversations. The past two days were pretty awesome, boys! :)

Ka-birthday ko to! ;-)

Ermm.. Moving on to review proper...

The place was not packed (our seats were upgraded from upper box to lower box) and I know just 5 or 6 of his songs. But these things do not change the fact that he is such a great song writer and an equally great performer.

Galing lang how he can stir up certain emotions among the listeners. He sings as though every note says a hundred things and he connects to his audience very well. You can feel the pain in his songs, man! As in puncture... no, make that piercing pain. So when asked by a friend how the concert went, i go "masayang malungkot".

Galing! And best encore ever!
Yay, The Click Five is up next!

Special thanks to Poliewanacracker for tagging us along!

Let me make it this simple-

I.Love.Adam.

Now that we have walked the same earth and breathed the same air,
I'd die a happy man.

What can I say, LOVE.IS.REAL.

Gimme one person who doesn't love this movie, I bet he/she is dead inside.
Highly entertaining with a whole lotta those "awwww..." moments!
Love it! Love it! Love it!

And yes, Robert de Niro STILL rawks!!!
